Pamukkale Wines was founded in 1962 in the Güney district of the city of Denizli. Güney is located in the north of Denizli, about 750 - 850 meters above sea level. The soil is made of clay - loam, limestone and pebbles. The Pamukkale winery with its 65 hectares of fully developed vineyards and various local contract farmers produces in the so-called chateau style, which means local cultivation with "processing on site".

Since 1989, 20% of Pamukkale's wine production has been made for Germany and France.
