Saray Raki
Saray Raki is a product from Belgium, and in our range with 48% vol. the raki with the highest alcohol content that we currently offer. This is no coincidence, as the makers have Syrian roots and historically come from the production of arak, which, as is well known, usually has more alcohol than raki.
The raki is made using a classic process with no added sugar, i.e. from grape suma and aniseed, and is distilled 5 times during the production process. This is also noticeable in the round taste, which does not indicate the alcohol content.
A lot of effort has also been put into the equipment and the raki has been poured into an extremely attractive bottle.
In terms of taste, the Saray Raki has a slightly peppery note on the finish, but overall it shows a balanced, classic raki experience. Even if the alcohol content is noticeable here, the taste is really balanced and not dominantly alcoholic.
Especially for friends of the Tekirdag No. 10 definitely worth trying.
