Pamukkale Anfora Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most popular and widely distributed white wines in the world. At Sauvignon Blanc, the Pamukkale Anfora stands for a special quality. In the case of the Güney plateau, it is the coolness of the Mediterranean that gives the grapes their freshness and piquant fruit aromas. Even in the fragrance, the wine is incredibly fruity with aromas of apples, black currant and citrus aromas. The palate is gripping, present and very, very aromatic!
Pamukkale Weine is a family business founded by Fevzi Tokat in 1962. Fevzi Tokat started with a relatively small production volume of 100.000 liters. Pamukkale has since become one of the largest wineries in Turkey. The winery, which is now managed by his brother Yasin Tokat, produces 3,5 million liters of wine every year. The main goal is to offer wine lovers the best quality wine at the best prices.
The Pamukkale winery is located in the north of the province of Denizli in the city of Güney. It is one of the most important wine-growing areas in Turkey, through which the Menderes River flows. The climate there is similar to that in the Napa Valley, while the soil is similar to that in Bordeaux. This plateau, which is 850 m above sea level, has the privilege of having damp earth with limestone and pebbles.
The ideal drinking temperature is 6-8 degrees. It goes well with seafood, sushi, Asian food and salmon.
