Cotes d'Avanos Tempranillo
Côtes d'Avanos Tempranillo is the first red wine from the Côtes d'Avanos vineyards in Cappadocia. The vineyard is 950 m above sea level, where the soil is made of limestone and tuff, which is formed by the breaking up of volcanic rocks. The high temperature difference between day and night promotes good ripeness, good acidity and the aromatic structure. Tempranillo grapes are cultivated with little yield (30 hl / ha) and harvested by hand when they are optimally ripe. They are processed with a gravity system (transfer of the grapes by gravity, without pumping equipment, which means there are no bruises). This terroir wine is aged for 1 year in French oak barrels. Long and full-bodied with strong tannins and complex aroma, it is produced in limited quantities with numbered bottles.
