Kavaclidere Yakut
The Kavaklidere Yakut is one of the most famous red wines in Turkey. This cuvee made from local Turkish grapes, Bogazkere, Carignan, Alicante and Öküzgözü, has a very good price / performance ratio. A beautifully balanced wine that offers dark fruit flavors and hearty earthiness, and in combination with grippy tannins inspires your palate and your imagination. Bright, intense cherry in color. Intense nose of red fruits, plums, black mulberry with violet notes. Rich aromas in the taste, concentrated and balanced with ripe tannins.

The Kavaklidere winery, founded in 1929 by Cenap And in Ankara, was the first privtae wine producer in Turkey. In addition to Yakut wine, Kavaklidere has a wide range of products consisting of 66 different wines and 2 grape juices. The company owns 650 hectares of vineyards in 7 different areas in the Aegean, Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia. The products are made in modern facilities and vineyards in Ankara-Akyurt (1987), Cappadocia-Gülsehir (2003) and Aegean-Kemaliye-Pendore (2005) Kavaklidere.
Kavaklidere's goal is to produce high quality wines from the unique grape varieties of Anatolia and grape varieties of foreign origin grown in the various microclimates of Anatolia in order to constantly improve viticulture and production technology. Kavaklidere exports the Yakut wine mainly to European, American and Far Eastern markets.
